It’s the longest night of the year, and the sun didn’t show up during the day. It’s cold and Freida spent her day in the studio with me never leaving her bed by the wood stove. Sometimes I make her move over and sit next to her in front of the fire to meditate. Every once in a while she’ll put her head on my knee. Mostly she just sits quietly until I’m done and when I leave she stretches out again.
Hi Maria,This photo is priceless! Such a sweet blog entry. You are quite the writer. Have you ever thought of seriously doing some? You have a built in helper if you needed it.
Here’s to longer days from here on in… Cindy
oh Cindy aren’t you sweet, but I think I’ll leave the writing to writers and keep doing my work.
I meditate with my border collie, she loves to do that with me. I don’t think she gets the seated Qigong stuff.
Smart dog….Aren’t wood burning stoves the best? We have one like yours in the living room and another insert in the kitchen. There is no better feeling in the winter…mess and all.
Dogs laugh, but they laugh with their tails.
