The Donkeys Could Graze in the Common Ground…

Jon led us to the Old Plaza in Chimayo when he asked the weaver, Carlos Trujillo, where we could find some crumbling adobes to take picture of.   The attached adobe buildings form a square for protection with a common ground in the middle of it.

Jon and I were immediately enchanted.  Only a few of the buildings are occupied. We both talked about buying one of the building to live in and how the donkeys would be right at home grazing in the common ground.
