Tiny Wool Drawings

Today it’s a typical November day in  Upstate NY.  Cold, overcast and raining.  I didn’t take one picture outside of my Studio.

But yesterday morning the light was like I’ve never seen it before.  When I went to muck out the pole barn I saw the little tufts of wool stuck on the railing where the sheep scratch themselves.

Those squiggly lines of wool were glowing in the sunlight, creating tiny, abstract, three-dimensional drawings, radiating light.
