Two of our sheep have long tails Trish. Izzy and Kim, although Kim’s is shorter. A sheep’s tail is usually docked a couple of days after being born. It’s done mostly for sanitary reasons. We got both Kim and Izzy, when they were older, with their natural tails.
It’s always a joy to watch the dogs working with the sheep. I love how the donkeys’ demeanor makes them seem above it all.
Did I see a long tail on one of your sheep? I’m curious why/how that came to be.
