Chocolate Cherry Cookies

As I was hanging my work at the Orange cat Cafe in Glens Falls,  I over heard Tamara Stevens, the owner,  talking to one of her bakers about chocolate cherry cookies.

I didn’t realize how nervous I was until I walked into the cafe.  I knew if it wasn’t my art the decisions about what and where to hang the work would have come easy.  I started to sweat, and wanting a second opinion  asked Tamara what she thought.   After switching things around for the third time I  was happy with the way it looked.

I bought a couple of chocolate cherry cookies and headed home feeling the relief and satisfaction that comes after finishing something you’ve been working on for a long time.

The Orange Cat Cafe is on Elm Street in Glens Falls NY.  The Third Thursday Art Walk takes place in 20 alternative spaces.   The art is on view for the entire month and the opening reception is Thursday, May 19th from 5-8pm.  More Info

  1. From a very far distance, it looks delightful. Up close, I’m sure it’s even better!

  2. What a lovely and generous video. And congratulations on this show. It’s quite inspiring to me that you are showing your work. I can’t wait to be there with you at the Orange Cat. I’ll buy you dinner there the night of the show and we’ll celebrate.
