Shooting Star

I spent the morning with Diane and Joyce, hanging the second in a series of three Gallery 99 Exhibits at the Charles Wood Theater in Glens Falls.  They sold 10 pieces from the last show.   First we unpack all the work and line it up on the floor in the order it will hang.

I get on the ladder and Diane and Joyce determine the right height and distance from the other pieces.  Then the labels go up.  We figured out the hanging system last show, (fishing line and hooks on molding) so this time it was quick and easy.

The current show is “Shooting Star” which has a travel theme.   It’s a nice mix of work.  Hopefully it will be as successful as the last show.

A watercolor by Betty O’Brien and  Fiber Art by Robin Blakney-Carlson both in the show.

Tomorrow: Potholder Contest
