Minnie paces on the low wall in the barn where her food dish is. Outside she is well camouflaged blending into the rocks and tall grass, inside the barn she blends in with the tan and grey wood.

Minnie reminds me of when I’m trying to get ready to write. Pace, pace, pace…the laundry room never feels more enticing, the yard always needs a walk-through, the bed needs a brief try out, if only so I can look outside the window to see the sky and tree tops. Poor Minnie; I hope she finds a way to just plant her butt. That’s what I have to do. And it’s never easy.
I do the same thing when I’m trying avoid something, suddenly I get to urge to organize the mess on the dining room table or scrub the many crevices in the kitchen with a toothbrush.
Minnie’s face has the most unusual and striking pattern of color, I’ve ever seen. I never get tired of looking at her, so much like your quilts and potholders, Maria. Thanks for taking the time to post all the wonderful pictures and videos for us to enjoy, Annie
