My quilts keep getting bigger and bigger. I meant for this one to be a lap quilt about 60″x60″ but it turned out almost twin size. I had to hang it sideways to tack it because it dragged on the floor. It’s sold and will find a new home in California.
Yesterday someone told me that when she looked at the quilt it made her feel “like everything is alright.” How wonderful I thought, for one of my quilts to be able to evoke such a feeling.
‘It’s alright’ because it’s so very cheerful! Our lives are created with stories so they might as well be happy ones.
