And so it begins. Jane dropped off her felted pincushions and wallets this morning. 3 plastic containers, some display racks and lots of information on how they are made. She does such gorgeous work and I’m excited all over again seeing all her pincushions together. I pulled them out of the boxes one at a time oohhing and aahhing over each one. I’m going to have to buy one and lucky me, I get first choice. ( whoops, I suppose that’s not very professional, but I just can’t help myself.)
We’ll also have some of Jane’s wallets and change purses for sale. Each a unique signed piece.
This afternoon I’m meeting the potter Susan Leader in Chester Vermont at the Misty Valley Book Store where Jon is doing a reading for his new book Going Home:Finding Peace when Pets Die. I’ll be taking her work home with me. I can’t wait to see the new line of pottery she made for the show.
I can’t wait! My husband, Michael, and I are coming from Beaverton (a rural village two hours north of Toronto), Ontario, Canada just for your show! Looking forward to the experience! 🙂
Diane
Can’t wait to meet you both Diane.
I’m so excited! Can’t wait to see (hopefully a pin cushion will be left for purchase) in person and feel the creations you will share next Saturday! Looking forward to the fall foliage, Farm to Table @ Gardenworks & just 2 days away from the hustle and bustle…
Thank you Marie for opening your barn and sharing these gifts!
It sounds like you’re taking in all the good stuff in Hebron Sandra. I’ll save a pin cushion for you.
First choice, You are sooo lucky! I’m beelining it to the pincushions full speed. Watch out! 🙂
Ohhhh I like the tiny dark blue one. I don’t sew at all but always seems to have straight pins here and there for various reasons. Hide it for me. Lol.
