I keep crying too…I’ve had to put down 3 dogs and a cat…it never gets easy. I miss them all the time. But after about 6 mo to a yr you don’t get choked up just by thinking of them or talking about them and their individual personalities.
Thinking of you all…
Izzy was a special dog. I’m glad I had several opportunities to meet him “in person.”
Several years ago, right before my husband and I moved to Utica, NY, we had to euthanize two of our cats in the same day. I’ll not forget how that felt, even though we knew it was the right decision.
My condolences to you and Jon on the loss of Izzy and Rose.
HOW LUCKY WE ARE TO HAVE THE GIFT OF LOVE FROM OUR PETS IZZY WAS SO LUCKY TO HAVE YOU AND JON TO RETURN THAT LOVE
Hi Jen, I have to disagree. It’s been a little over a year and I still have moments where I do choke up thinking of my sweet dog.
