When Linda first wrote me she asked if I could make a quilt for her husband because he and his dog Paulie had taken over the Turtle Quilt she bought from me and she wanted it back or at least to be able to use it some of the time.

So she sent me some of her husbands old clothes and told me a few things about him. Mark turned out to be one of those “good men” (kind, thoughtful, loving) and I added a streaming piece to the quilt which made a point of this great virtue.

Mark emailed me these photos of him and Paulie and the Quilt for a Good Man. That’s a pillow Mark’s daughter gave him with Paulie’s profile on it I think I see the Turtle Quilt folder over the arm of the couch. I guess Linda uses it now.

How wonderful, Maria! Your good vibes woven into your quilts make for good snuggles between a man and his dog. I can’t think of a better testament of your talents than this. On a side note, I didn’t know people still slept on floors, esp. without a futon.
Good morning Maria, l have to say it warmed my heart to see these two on the floor together. I do the same with our 3 dogs, they don’t come on the couch, but l join them on their dog beds and we hang out together..I still need to get one of Maria’s quilts to cover us all, it would have to be the Uber-Dog Quilt 🙂
I love Paulie! Bull Terriers are so adorable, and the quilt is wonderful too 😉
What delightful photos! They must do your heart good!
They do Candy.
