I’ve spent the yesterday afternoon and all day so far figuring out pricing for my wool and roving, contacting people who want to buy it and sorting out the shipping. Now I plan on making labels and packing up the wool ready to go. I was surprised at how quickly it did sell. I had 19 skeins of wool, 200 yards each and sold them for $22 each + shipping. For some reason I thought most people would want one or two skeins, but the first ones on my list of people who wanted wool got their choice of quantity. It varied from 1 to 5 skeins.
I still have some roving or bumps (as Susan told me they were called) for sale. For those of you who don’t know, this is the wool before it is spun into yarn. So it’s for spinners. Here’s what I have left: They are all sold.
