Crayons, Watercolors and Candy

I just got these delicious boxes of thread from Connecting Threads  (which I first saw on my Google ads) where they were on sale for $43 each.  They come  tied with ribbon, and I think if I never used them, I’d be happy just to look at them.  I’ve never had so much thread to choose from.  I can only imagine it will lead to something new.

Looking at them, I’m thinking  a box of crayons, those watercolors kits with the round dots of paint  and candy store.

  1. I go into bead stores and just want to buy them all to look at and enjoy. The threads are beautiful … I cannot wait to see what you do with them!

  2. When I open a drawer that contains crayons (or markers or colored pencils) that I had forgotten about, I get a little rush of endorphin. The same thing happened when I saw this photo. Enjoy!

  3. I am enjoying the image of money flowing backwards from the ads on your own blog. And then forwards again, like a river of abundance that comes out your sewing machine, and like Adriadne, a thread tracing the path you create. A rainbow river, from the looks of it.
