It’s Friday afternoon and the sun is shining for the first time all week. I should finish piecing together my Caretakers Quilt but I’m tired and …it’s Friday afternoon and the sun is shining. One of the benefits of being self-employed is that I can quilt work early if I want to. I might as well take advantage of it.

Maria, I’m sure I won’t be the first to mention you wrote “quilt” work early instead of quit, but quilt works just great since you were working on your quilt! Aptly named Caretakers Quilt since you were Jon’s caretaker for a good part of the week while he’s been sick. Glad he’s doing better! Now it’s time for you to rest!
