I can’t talk about Kim Gifford and not talk about pugs, but there’s more to Kim than that. Writer, artist, pug lover, that’s about right. I was blown away by Kim’s Photo collages when I first saw them a couple of years ago. I invited her to be in one of the shows at the Pig Barn Gallery, then she became one of the artists in the Common Thread Give-a-way then she joined Jon’s Hubbard Hall Writer’s Workshop. She also teaches writing, writes professionally and has a wild blog, dedicated to her writing, her art and her pugs, Alfie and Waffles (who appear in much of her art).
Kim is going to join us at the Bedlam Farm Open House this Sunday. She’ll be doing a reading with Diane Fiore and Mary Kellogg. She’ll also be selling some of her art. Recently Kim started doing some ipad drawings and she’ll have some of these for sale along with her note cards and photo collages.
