Rococo Romance

True Love
True Love

I know, I know, I’m supposed to be making potholders and scarves for the Bedlam Farm Open House.  But this is what happened instead.  An Applique Pillow called True Love. Maybe it comes from continuing to learn about and understand the meaning of love.  Or maybe it comes from the wedding I’m going to this weekend. (Can’t remember the last time I went to a wedding, oh yeah, it was mine!)  But there is it Rococo Romance.  This piece will definitely have ruffles around the edges.

    1. Not yet Debbie, I was thinking of saving it for the Open House, but I do believe you are coming to the open house. I can hold it for you if you want.

  1. Love all the ornamentals…exactly rococo! And the frilly ruffles as the edging which you mention will be perfect. So great that you feel free to experiment and let your spirit wander into new territories.

  2. The crown is perfect – it reminded that it is used in Orthodox wedding services. Not sure exactly what it symbolizes, but it fits right in with the flowers.
