I just finished the border of Full Moon Donkey. It’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be, about 24″x 31″. It was the wrong shape for a pillow so I made it into a wall hanging. I chose stars on the outside, keeping with the night theme. I also got a lot more response to it than I thought I would. Many people referred to it as mystical. Tess, who has been reading and buying my work since the beginning suggested I was connecting to my root chakra through the power of the moon. That sounds right to me, also a coming together of the earth and heavens. My visit with the donkeys and the moon was definitely a mystical experience for me. I’m glad I was able to capture that in my work.
I have a few people interested in buying this piece, so I believe it is sold.

This is a beautiful piece of work. The mystical imagery, the vibrant colors and the layout all remind me of a Tibetan thangka with a bodhisattva at the center. Wherever it ends up, it will enrich that home and those lives. Thank you for sharing this and your other creations.
