Resplendent in Nothingness

It was that magical pool again, at the guest cottage where we stayed in Palo Alto.  I might call it a reflecting pool.  I was floating on my back feeling weightless,  all sound muffled by the water covering my ears, my eyes closed.  I felt nothing, the pure nothingness of sensory deprivation. And I knew at that moment I was made of light.  Then the words came to me.  I am a spirit being, made of light, water, air.  Resplendent in nothingness.  

I wrote down the words, but the image came later.  At first the donkey had balloons holding him up, but then they turned into butterflies. The girl I saw immediately, and she didn’t change, floating, swimming, up, up, up…….
