“Chuck the Halloween Cat”  by Rachel Barlow

Here it is, this month’s give-a-way, a signed print  of her Halloween Cat Chuck, by our new Common Thread Give-a-way artist Rachel Barlow.  (I’ve heard that Chuck is currently on a walk-about).   Rachel’s a wonderful artist and writer.  I got to know her when she became a part of Jon’s Hubbard Hall Writers Group.  She has a poignant, honest and often hilarious blog called Picking my Battles about life in her sustainable home in Vermont with her Actor Husband and two boys.  Each blog entry is accompanied by one of Rachel’s heartfelt drawings.

To have a chance to win this 5×7  signed print  (matted to fit an 8×10 frame)  leave a comment on Rachel’s  blog Picking My Battles.  The winner will be chosen on Thursday.  And while you’re there see what else is going on with Rachel.  You won’t regret it.

  1. What a lovely picture. We had a black cat, Smudge, adopted when she was 8 weeks. She shared our lives for 18 and a half years. Should I be lucky enough to win this, it would always remind me of Smudge, (No insult to Chuck, of course!)
