Kim and I are on it. Right now she’s working on assembling 14 potholders and I made another 8 today, so all totaled including the ones that are all already done, I have 46 potholders for Plaid Friday. That leaves only 54 to make in the next four and a half weeks.
For those of you who don’t know, Plaid Friday is the small business and artists answer to Black Friday. Held on the same day, November 29th, the day after Thanksgiving, we small business owners and artists are encouraging people to do your holiday shopping with us.
So this year, starting at 9am on November 29th, Plaid Friday, I’m going to be selling 100 potholders. You’ll be able to visit my online gallery and purchase my work. I’ll have patchwork potholders ($15 each + shipping) and my Message Potholders ($20 each + shipping) (My Message Potholders are the ones with the stitched drawings on them like my Everyday Goddesses and my Minnie and Flo potholders) In honor of the day, every potholder will have a plaid backing. My 100 potholders will be for sale until they are all sold. I have no idea how long that will take, but it’s going to be fun to see what happens.
Please join me if you’re in the market for potholders. And if you have any questions, just email me at [email protected].
