I finished Christina’s wallhanging this morning. I knew what I wanted the border to look like when I found on square of purple and green batik fabric. It’s one one on the bottom, second from the left. Then I searched for the rest of the pieces that would work with it. It was the only one with that particular pattern on it. But I always enjoy finding the rogue pieces that work together. It’s like putting together a puzzle that’s all about color and texture and making use of the loose ends.
I think this is one of the most beautiful wall-hangings’ yet. I never get tired of seeing your wonderful work. Thank you so much for sharing it all.
