Number Three It Is!

new quilt (1)Well, I had a hard time deciding between 2 and 3  as many of you did.  I did love getting all your comments and ideas.   But I went with 3, I’m not sure exactly why, it just looked right to me.  I did add a strip of greens on top of the quilt and a patchwork strip onto the left side.  It seemed to finish it off for me.   I don’t have a name for it yet, but I’m sure it will come as I put it all together.  When It’s done, I’ll be selling this quilt for  $400 + $20 shipping.

I like the way the baroque lady on the swing is looking down at the 1940’s lady carrying her vacuum.  And I couldn’t resist the smiling embroidered spoon.
