Maria, I would love to have this beautiful photo. I don’t live on a farm; never have. I live vicariously on one thanks to you and Jon. This photo is so full of color and calm and it makes me feel like I could be there.
I can’t come to the next open house because our son moved to Texas and we’re headed to that part of the country at that time, but hopefully, I will be able to soon. In the meantime, having this photo to frame and see every day would mean so much to me. Take care! Syl
Will miss you Syl, have a good trip to Texas, hope to see you in the fall!
Beautiful picture! This would make a wonderful addition to any country-style home. I sure would love to win it. Thanks for entering my name.

I’ve wondered if the comment in and of itself is the entry, or if you choose your favorite comment. If the latter, this comment likely will not earn a signed Jon Katz. Warm regards to the Katz-Wulf farm!
Marla, I choose a random number then pick go down the comments list. Fairest way I can think to do it. Thanks for entering the contest.

Two years ago I read Yann Martel’s Beatrice and Virgil. I have been affected every since, by that tale of a donkey and a monkey. Since then donkeys have become an obsession, one of the many, many reason I love your blog! My obsession was also the reason why I suggested for last year’s book club, that we read The Wisdom of Donkeys by Andy Merrifield. Such amazing animals – I love how Jon captures that which sets them apart from humans.
It does seem that a moment of calm and beauty can be captured in a photo and become timeless. Great job, all 🙂
