Blue Star Equiculture Comes To The Bedlam Farm Open House

Oh wasn’t I excited when Pamela said she would bring  Foxy and Merlin to the Bedlam Farm Open House.     Foxy and Merlin, two of Blue Star Equicultures work horses are just back from the Spencer Fair in Vermont, where they did a wonderful job of greeting people for days.

Now they’re going to be on Bedlam Farm October 10th and 11th with Pamela and some of the other people who work and volunteer at Blue Star.  Chloe will look  tiny next to them and the donkeys even smaller.   But those giant horses are the most gentle and generous creatures.    And Pamela’s pretty wonderful too.    Brian, Mithra, Deb and Dan will also be there to talk horses help you get to know Merlin and Foxy better.

It’s because of the time I spent at  Blue Star Equiculture with Pamela and around the horses that helped me decide to have a horse of my own.  At Blue Star I first  learned to be around horses without being afraid of them.  I leaned how to put a halter on a horse whose head I couldn’t even reach.  And it’s where I first rode bareback.

I can only say that having Pamela and all the other people from Blue Star,  and Foxy and Merlin at the Open House is going to make the day even more special.  You’ll see what I mean when you meet them.
