The grass was white this morning and the windshields on the cars were sparkling like crystals. Jon had to break the ice in the bucket of water for the animals. The light is back on in the chicken coop and it’s time for hay.

The hard frost seems to have come so fast! Just a week-and-a-day ago we were there for the open house, peeling off our coats and sweaters as the day progressed.
