These are the potholders I made from the long patchwork home-made skirt from the 1970’s. I used the patchwork squares from the skirt then added the blue and purple solids, because the potholders called for it.

Maria, as November heads into December (and we’ve been very spoiled here in southern Ontario Canada as I expect you have there) the weather is finally turning on us. We’ve had five inches of snow an hour north of Toronto. As beautiful as it is, we’re never ready psychologically for it. And so thank you for the bright and cheery potholders; the colour is a wonderful gift visually on a grey morning like this.
