Well, it looks like I’m still here and selling my Potholders. I believe it’s important to be positive no matter where the end is, hence the colorful potholders.
And while I was at it, I made some potholders with that great vintage horse fabric that Karen sent me. (It was in her family for over 50 years, passed down to her from her mother. Karen does a lot of her own sewing and selling but she couldn’t find a use for the heirloom horse fabric. So a few months ago she passed it on to me. My first Horse Potholders came soon after that, finally putting that fabric to work.)
I sewed these together this morning and now they’re for sale. They are $15 each + $5 shipping for 1-2 and $7 shipping for 3 or more. Shipping is a bit more outside the US. I take checks or I can email you a paypal invoice. So if you see one or more that you like just let me know here at [email protected].

Ove the horse fabric! Looks like they are going to run right off the potholder!
So neat!
I’m just so glad to see that horse fabric finally get used. It’s hard when you’ve had something for so long, to decide what you can come up with that’s “worthy” of it. Turns out giving it to a friend was the most worthy of options.
I know that feeling Karen, it needed a fresh start. Glad I was able to put it back out into the world.
