I’ve been working on filling orders for my Minnie and the Hen’s Having Breakfast Potholders. I’ve stitched it so many times there are rarely any surprises. I’ve got Minnie’s expression down and the weight of her body leaning on her elbow.
Sewing the same image over and over again is definitely not as much fun as creating the first one. And the better I get at it, the less fun it is. But I take breaks in between to keep me and the drawing fresh.
I’m still working on my Lace Tree Goddess. So I go back and forth between the two. I’m still trying to figure out the next step with her. Finding just the right fabric for the border and deciding what else, if anything, I’ll add to the tree.
I should have about 10 more potholders done by the end of the week.
