My friend Jane McMillen, who makes all those wonderful pincushions I sell at the Bedlam Farm Open Houses is a part of a silent auction to benefit a fellow artist.
The auction is being held on line and at Frog Hollow, a Gallery in Vermont. Jane’s friend Stacie Mincher, who is known as the Zipper Lady, for the art she makes from zippers, is recovering from a stroke, so many of fellow Vermont artists have donated their work to this auction, (which ends tomorrow) to help her with her medical expenses.
So here’s an opportunity to browse the work of many wonderful Vermont artists, and buy an original piece of art on-line and support Stacie as well.
Here’s a link to the Auction Catalog. To bid just send a email with the piece you want and your bid to [email protected]
There’s also some art available from the gallery that’s not a part of the auction, but is for sale with the money also going to benefit Stacie.
Jane’s Doorstop Chicken is one of the many pieces for sale. I’m bidding on a collage that’s caught my eye.
