When I started taking these Monday morning videos in the fall of 2015 I was sure there would be a more drastic changing landscape with the winter’s snow. But that didn’t happen this year. We got very little snow. So the difference between winter and spring is more subtle.
The more visible indication that the seasons are changing will be when we stop feeding the animal’s hay and they can get all they need to eat by grazing.
So here’s my first video of the spring from Bedlam Farm. Red’s as subtle in his approach as the winter was this year, but he moves the sheep like nothing else.
You can see some of the grass is beginning to turn green.
