Remember the old quilt pieces I used in my ” The Wild Self” quilt. Well I made a couple of potholders for Holly who sent me the old quilt. She was close friends with Bertha, who made the quilt. So I chose, cut and rearranged some of the squares then for the other side of the potholder I used whole pieces from Bertha’s quilt.
So, one side of the potholder is mine and the other side is Bertha’s. A true collaboration. I never met Bertha, but from what Holly told me about her and from working with her old quilt top, I feel like we would have liked each other.
