I’ve spend the last few days working on making arrangements and setting up a fundraising site on Indiegogo for my trip to India. But in between it all the animals are a constant.
They keep me in the moment. Leading them out to the pastures for grazing and back to the barn yard twice a day. Filling their water, feeding the hens, cats and dogs. Mucking out the barn and collecting eggs. Checking Chloe’s and the donkeys ears for bug bites, and grooming in general.
Just spending time with them all. Along with meditating and walking in the woods, it’s one of the most grounding things I do. Being around the animals always brings me back.
