A fawn was stuck in the dog area this morning. She kept running back and forth, running into the fences. We opened the gates and she eventually was able to jump the back fence to the open pasture and woods behind the house. I’ve seen her and her mother drinking at the stream in the back yard. I imagine they got separated and she panicked.
We grazed the animals in the Bear Pasture, on the other side of the house, to give the fawn a chance to get back to her mother. (You can see a picture of the fawn on Jon’s blog) That’s Rosemary leading the flock in the video.
