I wasn’t expecting the box from Kathleen. For the past couple of years I sold her wrapped stone necklaces and earrings at the Bedlam Farm Open House.
So I was surprised when I opened the box and saw the bag of bracelets. I immediately wanted to sell them. Then I read her note. I was stunned. I can hardly believe the amount of support I’ve received for my trip to India. It’s come in so many different forms.
And now in Kathleen’s beautiful bracelets.
I can only imagine the love, work and expense that went into making these.
So I’ll put Kathleen’s bracelets (she marks the type of stones on each one) in my School House gallery at the Bedlam Farm Open House. And anyone who wants one can make a donation for the bracelet of their choice. And that money will go to help the girls in India who I’ll be working with.
Thank You Kathleen!

HI Maria, what a lovely surprise for you to open that box! I love the bracelets, and would happily make a donation towards your trip. If no-one else has ‘reserved’ it, please could you save the one at top left with the green color stones for me, if that’s already sold, then the tigers eye type brown stone one at bottom left with the metal tree decorations is pretty too.
I can’t be at the Open House, no more vacation time left this year, and have to work this weekend, but my parents visiting from Devon, England are heading off for a 1 week road trip around NY & VT this Friday, Saturday’s plan is to spend time at the Open House.
Really enjoying seeing all the previews of the items you will have for sale. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hi Hannah, I’m looking forward to meeting your parents. I’m sure to know them by their accent! And yes, I’ll email you about the bracelet. Thank you!
