A Good Talk In Mystic Connecticut

I know this photo makes it look like Red is the main attraction and Gail is the speaker and Jon is, uncharacteristically,  hiding in the corner.  But that’s not really  how the talk at the Connecticut Library Conference went at all.  (except maybe for Red upstaging Jon)

It was a full house and Jon gave a great talk (Yes, I may be biased, but I saw a lot of heads nodding in agreement and there was plenty of laughter).

We didn’t get to see any of Historic Mystic Seaport,  or the Aquarium.  We did think about going to both, but I knew I had all my potholder orders waiting at home to be filled and Jon wanted to get home to work too.

The hens were pecking around in the rain when we did get home, and Fate was wriggling around in her crate.  She never says hello to us when we get home, she just runs through my legs  and out the door to the sheep.  Fate has her priorities.

Now I’m going to pick up my House of Hearts tags from Sara, then dive into my potholder orders.
