It’s been a long time since I worked on my wall hanging. but today I got back to it. I laid out the fabric for the bird and hand stitched it on. I think I’ll use my sewing machine to make her eye. I’m not yet sure how I’ll handle the beak.
I worked on this part today too. I sewed the embroidery drawing (it has never been embroidered), with my stitched goddess and marker designs, onto the wall hanging. Then I extended some of the drawing to help it blend into the whole piece better.
This is what the whole wall hanging looked like when I left my studio today. Still a lot to do, but it felt good to be working on it again.
