Kim McMillan just dropped off her wallets and handbags for the Bedlam Farm Open House. The Crazy Quilt Bag was made from an old coat and scraps of wool. Kim hand embroidered it.
The Sweater Bag is made from a sweater. It had the design of the flower embossed on it in the same color as the back ground wool. So Kim used what was there and hand embroidered over the design enhancing its elegance and giving it color. Then she added the seed puffs floating away on the wind. This bag also has a vintage shell button in mint condition. You can’t see it in the photo, but it’s iridescent with hints of pink.
She embroidered the back too…
