Ed Gulley’s Tin Man Comes To The Bedlam Farm Open House

The last time I was at Bejosh Farm I took a video of Ed Gulley talking about his Tin Man.

Ed was still working on Tin Man,  actually it was he was in the first stages of creation.   Ed said he’d been thinking about making Tin Man for years.  He just never had a reason to.  But now Ed understands, that whatever he thinks up, is reason enough to make it.

Here’s the short video I took of Ed talking about making Tin Man….

Tin Man is a departure for Ed.  I’ve never seen him create something so ambitious.  He really looks as if he can come alive at any moment.  I couldn’t help but shake Tin Man’s outstretched hand and welcome him to the farm.

I thought it was interesting how they’re just about the same height.  A self-portrait maybe?
