I thoroughly enjoy following yours and Jon’s posts. Watching Gus I’m reminded of the unkind posts some callous people sent to Jon. My Mother always said to never say anything unless it was positive. Frankly, my life now is difficult because I used my retirement to keep her in her own house rather than a nursing home for the duration of her life. There are no regrets, though there seem to be situations that arise daily that would’ve been easier with some extra money in the bank! Today I took my dog to the vet for evaluation, fearing he would suggest euthanasia because she has congestive heart failure. Gratefully, he adjusted her meds and sent us home. I know her day will come, but I believe when it does we will both know it. For now, she still gives me joy! Keep up the good work!
