I don’t actually remember when I first pieced these fabrics together, it was probably over a year ago. I found them when I was putting my studio back together after the Open House.
I started working on a quilt today using it as a beginning. Here’s what it looks like so far….
Wow – breathtakingly beautiful. It has so much dimension. What immediately came to mind was a portal. A portal surrounded by safety, snuggled up by the gorgeous pinks, reds, and yellows.
I was thinking of a portal too Renate. and You’re right, now that I look at it, it does feel safe.
I like the “stop action animation” feel of the photo series.
