A Tiny Scrap Of Inspiration

I didn’t have the most productive day today but I was inspired to use the bag of  tiny scraps, that Hannah sent me, to make some more potholders.

I found that small piece of blue and white striped fabric with the red star inspiring.

  1. Morning, was just watching Minnie & Gus cute vid, and when I scrolled up to this post did a little shout ‘AHA’!!!
Given the window potholder kick you were on, I was pretty sure those teeny tiny scraps may end up being some ‘windows’, glad you liked them!

    1. yes, Hannah, I didn’t even get a chance to thank you (caught up in my potholder obsession) So thank you! As you can see you and your scraps have inspired me!

  2. Dear Maria, I love your potholders (I have one of your crow potholders – I love it – thank you). These two struck me right away this morning. The top one, to me, screams farmer or cowboy, and the second one seems his wife’s. It reminded me of my grandma’s aprons… the grandma that always had the best chocolate cookies waiting for me when I went to her house. Thank you so much for your delightful art that you grace our world with.

  3. Many years ago when I visited my family in Romania, when there was still The Iron Curtain, the factories all had large red stars on their fronts. That is
what I thought of when I saw your red stars.
