My Chimayo Quilt

I sold my Chimayo quilt, the first one I made after coming back from New Mexico, even before it was done.   Now it’s on its way to its new home.  It was popular, and many people asked about buying it.

I think it was this quilt that gave Ellen the idea to ask me to make some quilts for her family for Christmas gifts.

So that’s what I’m working on now.  Three quilts with special wool batting, that’s thick warm.

I finished designing the first one today.   I’m still waiting for the batting to come, so I’ll  start designing the next quilt before I finish the first one.

I’ll post pictures of their progress as I work on them.
