Those strips on the bottom and left side aren’t sewn on yet, but this is how I was thinking of finished off this second quilt for Ellen when I left my studio this evening.
I didn’t sew them on because I wasn’t a hundred percent sure it what I want to do and I was tired. Time to give it some space and see how I feel when I look at it in the morning.
What looks like an almost white color is actually one of Jon’s blue shirts. The blue just isn’t showing up in my photo. As good as my camera is on my iphone 8, it’s sometimes too sharp and distorts reality.
Once I finish this quilt I think I’ll back it and maybe the first one too. Then I’ll start on the third. I might need that space between them.
Oh I just love the lay out for this quilt, nicely done.
OoOoOoO I really like how this is looking! You’ve a good eye, kid. Thanks for giving us a looksee on your work.
I really love how this is coming together. The contrasting colors are so alive and lovely. Great work…
I agree.
It is … just beautiful!
