My Quilt and My Wall Hanging For Sale

“Keeping Warm” SOLD

Jennifer read in Jon’s blog post “State of the Farm”  that I had a quilt and wallhanging that hadn’t sold yet and wanted to see them. (Thanks  Jennifer, for asking).

Jon used his post to poke fun at me, but that’s okay because it actually was funny.  And it looks like now, it’s getting me to post   a couple of pieces of my work that I was holding on to.

I know a good sales person would keep posting their work until they sold it.  But apparently, I’m not as good at the business end of my work as I am the creative.  Not that I’m complaining, I’d rather it be that way than the other way around.

So,  this is what I have for sale….

My quilt “Keeping Warm” (it’s in the picture above)  which is 74″x80″ and is now $425 + $20 shipping.   I made “Keeping Warm” during those cold days of January.  Working with those colors actually helped warm me up.     It has some nice details which you can see below…

Plaza Blanca

I also have my wall hanging “Plaza Blanca” for sale.  This was the first piece I made after coming home from our trip to New Mexico.  I got the idea to make the giant white rocks out of doilies when I was meditating in their presence.  The minimal feeling of this piece was also influenced by seeing Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings.

Except for the sky, Plaza Blanca is all hand stitched.

It’s 35″x 52″ and is now  $250 + $20 shipping.

If you’re interested in either of these pieces, you can email me here at [email protected].  I take checks and PayPal.
