Jon still says that Lulu hasn’t forgiven him for the winter he sent her and Fanny away to live with a farmer in Vermont.
He also gave the farmer all his sheep a the same time. But by that spring, he wanted the donkeys back. A couple of years later, the same farmer gave me my sheep. Tess, Suzy, Socks and Zelda.
I think Lulu has forgiven Jon, enough to let him scratch her ears anyway.
My goodness, Jon is not wearing a blue sweater! The color looks very nice on him. Is Spring working some magic?
