Cooling off in the Pole Barn

The shearer is coming next Wednesday and I think it will make the sheep happy to have their spring coats.  I’m keeping the sheep out of the back pasture where they’re likely to get into brambles that would make skirting their wool more difficult.

From now till fall they’ll spend most of the day time in the shade of the pole barn or find the best places to catch the breeze.  We’ll open the pastures in the evenings for moonlight grazing.
