I started taking self portraits after seeing Vivian Maier’s photography
She was a street photographer who never showed her work to anyone, but took pictures through out her life. She became known only recently, after she died in 2009, when someone bought her boxes of negatives at an auction.
Maier often took self portraits in mirrors or other reflective surfaces along with shadow self-portraits.
