They don’t like to be out in the rain and wind, or walk in the deep snow, but other than that, the donkeys seem to tolerate the weather pretty well.
Being desert animals they don’t seem to mind this heat at all and I get the feeling the prefer it to the cold winters.
Although our donkeys, Fanny and Lulu were born and grew up just a few miles from where we live now, in Upstate NY, the heat and sun seems to be part of their natural habitat.
