Shadow Flower

The 1950’s toothbrush holder, on the wall in our bathroom,  has an old inkwell where the glass would have been.  My earrings now dangle where the toothbrushes would have hung

It’s easy to find a flower for the inkwell this time of year, but even in the winter, I make sure there’s something green and alive in it.

Having the flower in the bathroom changes the whole space for me.

This morning the shadow of the Blackeyed Susan in the inkwell stood out on the tangerine wall and I got this picture of it.
