Last week I made a whole batch of Farm Life Potholders. Someone, I don’t remember who, gave me this fabric years ago. I think it’s from the 1970’s but I’m not certain.
Just last year I used it for the first time to make potholders. This is my second or third batch of them. I think I used a lot of solid colors the first two times I made potholders from it. This time I decided to use a mix of prints and solids.
Someone on facebook called the man walking with the dog, Johnny Appleseed and I can see that he does look like drawings of him.
I became a fan of Johnny Appleseed after reading a book about him a few year ago. He actually reminded me a lot of St Francis because of the way they wandered, and his love of animals and the earth.
I have 10 Farm Life Potholders for sale. You can see them all and buy them in my Etsy Shop. Just click here or on the big orange Etsy Icon on the top of my blog.
